Naji is able to give us a stronger feeling that we are watching a real person on screen than any of the other actors in the film. Was this review helpful to you? The story may be precious, but the acting is on a par with a Junior High School play--very stilted. Zahra's shoes are gone; her older brother Ali lost them. It is great to watch with kids and adults to appreciate the blessings we have in this country and have more understanding and tolerance for others. I didn't know what to expect of this little movie. The Tramp cares for an abandoned child, but events put that relationship in jeopardy.
But if they're going to sucessfully cover their tracks, Ali and Zahra must carefully watch their step on what rapidly turns into a funny and heartwarming adventure.

I also showed it to a special needs boy that I knew who usually didn't watch movies for more than a few minutes at a time and he watched the whole thing from start to finish and seemed to enjoy it a lot ( he isn't verbal, and I wondered if the movie just worked better because it is so visual).
